Springwatch 2010 on the BBC

Posted on Tuesday 01st Jun 2010

I was surprised to learn that Bog Myrtle was found growing in the Dorset countryside - a herb native to Scotland found so far away, must be something special about Dorset as this herb is a medical wonder in my view.

The Bog Myrtle Herbal Plant

An enjoyable programme (as is Countryfile) that makes a change from the many drama's found on the BBC these programme's still continue to entertain and educate - and we really are interested aren't we, going by viewing figures!

I cannot wait to see tonight's episode to see the wee chicks flee their nest for the first time.

Thank you John - Mum is working on a new post for Springwatch and I let her know about this programme. She is waiting on the uncome of the series before blogging about it.

Hello Elizabeth

You made a mention of Springwatch but I would add the BBC do an Autumnwatch too later in the year and it is just as enjoyable too
