Mary Jean at 17th annual Portsoy Boat festival

Both mum and I got a little sunburned on the Saturday as we had left our gazebo at home, we felt that with our car being full we had no space to fit it in.
We had a fine day manning the stand and walking about looking at other stands, listening to live music that was pulling in the crowds and watching the boats.
We have some photo's taken so we have posted them on our facebook page - pictures of the Huntly & District Pipe band (I think) can be seen on parade.
As we don't tend to stock a lot of balm's and butter's, I was up late Saturday making more Lavender body butter and Chamomile and Geranium body butter to restock for Sunday.
Both our balm's and butter's are popular. Also, we have made a new friend, Lynne from Carrbridge (we hope to see again later this year to catch up on the gossip) who had traveled all the way up for this festival.
We are thinking about going there again next year as everyone enjoyed themselves and the weather was perfect too.
